Here it is 4 in the morning, I am awake, waiting for my tylenol to kick in.  With my renewed exercise program, I found new aches and pains, lol.  My triceps are aching, can't find a comfortable position in bed.  I know that this will ease with continued use of them over the next few days.  Yayyyy exercise.  This is a good ache, means that I am using muscles that had been dormant.

I had a good time chatting with several bariatric buddy members last evening.  The caring and sharing flowed.  Wishing those of you approaching surgery all the best.  Know that being a bundle of emotions is normal, expected and will pass.  For those recovering, do your best to get in you fluids, supplements and protein.  And for us, a little farther out, continue to exercise, and follow the plan set out by our surgeons.

Dedicating myself to myself, each and every day.  You???

Hope that you got a little sleep.  I know about those aches and pains.  I've been doing the elliptical and while doing it my legs and butt hurt a bit.  Suprising though the only pain that i have had since is in my arms.   LOL

I too had trouble sleeping, but thats been a given for awhile now.  Since surgery I havent been able to take my trazadone because it is a huge pill.  Gonna ask my PCP today for some elavil to take everynight and ambien to get me some sleep immediately.  I went to bed at 2:30am.  Slept till fiance came to bed at 5am.  Been up since.  No way, no how was I going back to sleep despite my best efforts of trying.

I enjoyed lasnights chat as well.  Sorry that I cut it short thoguh, but my head was hurting.

HAGD!!!!

Fran, I had trouble with insomnia for a few weeks after surgery as well.  Got a bottle of childrens benadryl to help a little.  I know that it has sugar in it, did not cause me to dump, yayyyy.  I spent a couple of hours awake most nights.  Then working night shift does not help either.  Our circadian rhythms are out of sync with nature.

Chat is a time for folks to pop in and out as they need.  I need to cut out early some times as well.  I enjoy 'paying it forward' to those in all stages of the weight loss process.

My pain after surgery was minimal, except for the invisible incision on my left side, just above my waistline.  I enjoy being among such a great group of loser's.  Let's lose together.  And remember to dedicate yourself to yourself each and every day.  Hugs
