sorry for typos i am on an old computer at school waiting for my husband to get out of his class. i lost 12 lbs from dec 28th. i am almost afraid that they are going to not let me have surgery. in 9 months i have hit 72 lbs of weight loss. cleveland will prob get 1 or 2 more lbs though depending on what i wear and i need to wear warm clothes tomrrow because we might have car trouble and will be in a snowstorm. maybe i should layer up so it looks like i have lost less weight. lol. i dont know. tomrrow is my last appointment and we go for insurance approval but cleveland ohio is expecting a snow storm and my aunt is having car trouble. please pray that i make it to my appointment and back. i have AAA and can get towed back but we need to get up there first!

Congrats on your weight loss so far.  It is awesome!  Keep up the good work.  I hope that the storm holds out a bit tomorrow as well.  I have an appt with my PCP.  I havent seen him since Oct.  He knew that I was gonna have WLS, but I never got back to see him to tell him when.  OOPS.

Hoping for once that the weathermen are wrong about the storm for us both.  Keep us posted! Thank happy thoughts!

Sara, wear whatever you need, for the weather.  The weight that you have lost in prep of surgery is wonderful, will not stop you from having the surgery.  It will make the surgery easier on both you and the surgical team.  They will have an easier time getting to your stomach and doing the needed surgery.  That you can and did lose this much tells the surgery team that you mean business and plan to follow the rules after surgery too.  Keep up the great work.  Hugs
