Back to reality!

Hello Bariatric Buddies!

It has been several months since I have been on OH.  Not because I have been sick, or have had a crisis in my family, or have won the lottery and traveled the world ... but because I have been LAZY

Lazy with making good choices ... Lazy with exercising ... Lazy with making myself a priority ... Lazy with being accountable to anyone - including myself.  Luckily, the impact of my laziness upon my weight has not been what it could and probably should be.  I am up about 12 pounds from my lowest weight as of this morning.

Today is the day!

I commit to making MUCH better choices and to journaling what goes into my mouth.

AND I commit to exercising at least 3 times per week for at least 30 minutes each time.

I actually have an appointment with a personal trainer for a fitness consultation and to talk about personal training sessions tonight!

I cannot tell you how much it means to mean that you are all still here, still being supportive of each other, and still on this journey!

TTFN - but I will back around soon!  Take care!

(((KIM))) This is cetrtainly not the easy way out that so many accuse us of taking is it? I know this personally, as you now know and hopefully those who are early out and those awaiting surgery are learning by reading here on our group.

Congrats to you for recognizing what has to happen and for making the decision before the regain was a much worse scenerio! I have a dear sweet lady in my live support group that regain 160 lbs before she decided to get back on the bandwagon, so you are doing yourself a huge favor by doing so now.

It will not be easy, but I hope you have found a renewed sense of inspiration in your journey, and it will help make it easier for you. Good luck with your personal trainer consult. Let us know how everything is going so we can support you and encourage you and congratulate you along the way!
Big hugs coming your way.
