Happy Saturday!

Hi everyone.

I just came in from shoveling snow.  Our snow blower died last year and we haven't repaired/replaced it yet so I am using  a shovel that I'm sure is museum quality, it's so old.  On the bright side, an ambitious neighbor did his front sidewalk, the lady in the middle and ours so it was just the walk to the porch, the porch itself and the driveway.  It isn't like I couldn't use the exercise.  My hubby bought me 2 pair of jeans for Christmas in a size 10 petite that I was sure I was going to have to return but I can get into them, breath, and don't have to lie down on the bed to zip them up!  I'm hoping for size 8 after plastics in the spring.  I'm also still trying to decide on how big I want to go for the breast enhancement.  If I leave it to my husband, I'll be a triple D and that isn't going to happen.  Right now I'm 38C but wouldn't mind 36 or 38 D.  I know it's pushing it and it probably won't happen but I would dearly love to have everything done in one session.  At least I wouldn't have to pay for the hospital twice.

It's also a new calendar year and my dental kicked back in again.  I am having my smile fixed; between my $2000 yearly dental allowance on the insurance and the $1000 line of credit I qualified for with a company that does credit for medical, dental, vision, hearing, cosmetics and even the vet.  I want to get them paid off pretty quick and see if I can get my limit raised to help with the plastics.  I will get the rest of the work on my bottom teeth done next year.  New body, new teeth, look out world, here I come!

So far, I've had a good day in regards to food.  Got my first protein shake in, had protein for breakfast and my supplements that I was scheduled for so far for the day.  I have one more round to take tonight and that will be the first time in months that I have gotten everything in.  I'm working on liquids right now; I'm not getting anywhere near enough.  I'm going to make a pitcher of Crystal Light and see if I can get it down before bedtime tonight.  I've already had 8 oz of fluids and will have another 8 when I have shake #2 for the day.  I'm due for my monthly B-12 shot and will get that on Tuesday.

I didn't have a terrific day yesterday as far as food goes but so far, today has been much better, I'm keeping track of everything in my journal and when I got on the scale this morning I had lost the 3 pounds I gained over the holidays.  That puts me back to 10lbs. from my goal weight.  I'm glad I didn't have to put up an increase on my ticker again.  That just about killed me last time.

I turned 50 on December 23.  I got this crazy idea to take my son to a concert for his birthday which is 2-1.  So, on February 12, I will be at the Palace of Auburn Hills (home of the Detroit Pistons) to see Ozzy Osbourne.  I truly hope I'm not the only old person there.  I'm counting on some of the older, Black Sabbath fans to show up.  My son thinks it hysterical that he and I listen to mostly the same music.  As we got older, a lot of my friends started listening to country music which I can't stand.  I'm still a "headbanger."!  LOL!  But there will be a lot of walking and stair climbing and I can always use the exercise.  It will be fun; I haven't been to a concert in a long time.

I went to the doctor yesterday morning to discuss the numbness in my left foot and all the tripping I do, including my fall at the other doctor's office earlier in the week.  It turns out that I have a condition called "toe drop."  I can bend my big toe down but can't bring it back up.  He is sending me to a neurosurgeon to see what he has to say.  I'm thinking that if it weren't for the tripping/falling down part it is something I could live with, but I guess I better make the appointment and see what he has to say.

Kathy, thanks for the tip on the Devrom.  I ordered it, had it in about 3 business days and it actually works.  One less thing to be embarrassed about in life is just fine with me.

Well, I guess I've gone on long enough.  I cooked a big dinner last night so it's everybody out for themselves with leftovers tonight.  I'm going to finish up the few dishes I have left and mop the floor.  I'm still loving my new dining room set and the new king size bed we just got.  I can't wait to get the upstairs painted and then start on my office.

I hope you are all having a great day!

You are welcome for the advice on Devrom.  I felt like a commercial for just a moment.

Congrats on losing the few # you found.  I have been workng on my garage/studio project and seeing the end in sight.  The finish trim work the closets and installing 8 sets of bifold doors and I can move the saw and air compressor back to the lower level of the garage.  Dennis is starting to move my plasic tubs of fabric stash to the garage.  Every commercial during the football game he carries a couple of tubs.  Makes the work seem less like work.  Plus he gets to rest during the actual game.

Today, walked 30 minutes with the critters.  Took them to a local building that allows pets and we walked stairwells and laps in the hallways.  The critters are soundly napping now after a good exercise session.  I logged 3000 steps or 1.5 miles during the walk, I consider this good, we did several stairwell climbs during the walk.  The dogs panted more than I did, I broke a good sweat.  Felt good to get in the exercise.  Cooooooool.  Happy weekend to you tooooo.  Hugs

Ohhh so glad it is toe drop and not ms or something else happening. I would take the toe drop any day over some of the other choices. Mat be a good idea to weat a sandle of somekind to bed to keep things aligned so they do not continue to drop more. Just the weight of blankets on your toes, can push them down and contribute to that condition.

Get that fluid in and chose as wisely as you can. Remember, its all about just making the NEXT right choice. None of us can or will ever be perfect and that is ok... just never use that as an excuse to cheat.

Hugs lady!
