Its been along time since Ive been on here. So first of all Helloooo Everyone.. Hope all  is well... So I should of had my surgery in November but after some medical issues it got bumped to January 10th.. Today @ 8am.. I am super excited and scared and happy so many things running through my head.. Probably will not get any sleep. I am having my surgery done at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins and my doctor is Dr. Pettine. I just wanted to get on here and let everyone know.. Question- do they let you eat ice chips after surgery? I know my throat is gonna be bothering me so thats why I ask... Take care everyone.. I hope all is going good for you all... C ya later...

Good luck today!  I don't think I was supposed to be given anything after surgery until I was cleared by the doctors, but the nurses in recovery did take pity and gave me ice chips plus a couple of sponges on long sticks to wipe my mouth with.  They warned me not to overdo it, but I was happy to have anything at all.
