I do not want to embark ruining their career or anything..but they do need educated..and this dr is new to the office, he was brought in last year to handle the case loads of my original Dr, who was good..and this new Dr, ugh.. even told me I was not diabetic, even though I had been treated for it for years..this was pre op..and said well since my numbers or good Im not diabetic..ARE YOU SERIOUS.. of course their normal, you didnt even doa glucose test ya idiot.. SO.. sorry to rant a little.. but I called my insurance too an hopeing for a new dr soon, and I would love to go back to my other Dr I had long time ago.. I called them months ago to see if they will register for my insurance and all that . they said they will check into it.. will call again.. I really do not like my pcp.. and your right he can contact them... like you said he is afriad..but good lord your opertating as a dr, your to help people! .. yea Im ranting now..LOL
here is a thought .. if you need bloodwork done for the wls or otherwise .. the doctor can fax the labwork request to a local lab to have the blood drawn. then the wls surgeon can get the results sent to their office ..
Considering that most doctors don't even draw for labwork anymore and you have to go to the lab to have the blood drawn ..
Besides i would supplement with the B12 sublinguals and do 1000mcg a day. shouldn't hurt since anything that is not used by the body is just excreted.
I know i had a problem with my doctor right before i had my surgery and about 2 months after my surgery I switched. (didn't want to mess it up until i had the surgery done)
Good luck dear
