Woohoo I did it....I completed week #1 of www.c25k.com which gets you started on running 5 km.  My goal is to run a half marathon in May.  I'm so proud of myself and excited about this year.  I'm finding my freedom...yippee!!!!

I am hoping that by may i could try to do something like that.  my knees and ankles hurt so bad now from caring around a 360 pound lady in a 5ft7in frame.

Congrats to you.  Make exercise fun and keep it exciting.  You will never get bored of it

I'm hoping to do c25k as well, but I'm waiting until it gets warm (well, and until I'm feeling better and cleared for exercise... but that will come before the warm weather).  Great job completing the first week of the program!

Congratulations!  The first week is under your belt.  Can you imagine being able to do this prior to the surgery?  It amazes me all the things that people can do when they're free from the excess pounds.  Keep us posted on how you're doing.
