Congrats on ur loss so far as well.  Ty for your post.  I met GOAL for my fluids today.  So dont have to worry about dehydration.. LOL  Have had to actually had to make myself slow down.  Surgeon wants me drinking no more than 4-6 oz every hour.

Within the next few days, you will begin to feel much better and be amazed at how quickly this will happen for you once it begins. I think the gas pain was worse than anything for me once at home, aside from the pain getting in and out of bed..THAT is OUCHY. Once I was home from the hospital for 2 or 3 days, I began to do a bit better each day. We all progress differently. at 5 days out of surgery I couldn't nap if I wanted to, but then around 6 weeks the energy decreased a bit.

Listen to your body! If it needs rest, then give it rest and just keep a cup close so when you are awake you can sip sip sip

I do feel so much better. The pain is controlled with liquid tylenol except i take some at night.. by the end of the day tylenol dont cut it.  Been out and about the last couple of days.  I have horrible gas pains, diarrhea (both of which are getting better) and belching that is god UGLY.  hoping that it gets better soon.

My body has been saying.. NAP.. but only 2 hours at a time.  When I go to sleep at night it is only for 4 hours.

Finally got all my fluids in for today.  Been kinda scared I think.  Didnt want to hurt my pouch.  Will start on PROTEIN tomorrow.   Took vitamins and calcium today as well.  Getting it slowly but surely
