New Surgery Date
Mag, how exciting, nerve-wracking, and any other emotion you can think of. I am so excited for you. As for there being too much to do, if you can get help doing what needs to be done, I say take it. Of course if you are busy getting ready, that won't give you any time to be nervous (and trust me there is nothing to be nervous about). I would do my RNY again in the blink of an eye. I had so many people who tried to talk me out of it and I am so glad that they didn't succeed. Tuesday will be here before you know it. Keep us updated how the surgery goes. We will be waiting to hear from you. I'm cleaning your spot on the loser's bench. You will be here before you know it. Any help that I can give, just give a shout out and I will help any way I can.
Mag, I know how you feel about the panic. My surgery is schedled a few days after yours on 1/17/11. So many emotions I am feeling. But it will be so worth it in the end (that is what I keep telling myself) I recenty read a book about a woman that had the RNY surgery, and her chant when things got rough was "nothing feels as good as skinny feels" That is what now keep telling myself now everytime I think of the initial pain and all that I will be giving up (Fat). "Nothing will feel as good as Skinny will feel"
Please keep us posted on your progress, and good luck.
