Day One of "Back on Track" Complete
Well, I made it through day one of my back on track and I have to say it was a success. I kept an accurate food log which for me is a major accomplishment. I tend to lie to myself and not put everything down as if by my not putting it down I didn't eat it. But today I wrote down everything that went into my mouth. I got all my water in, which is never a problem but drinking it at the correct time has been a problem but I overcame it today. I got back into the bad habit of drinking too close to eating and too close to when I finished eating. Today I made sure there was at least 30 mins. on each side of my meals. I got excerise in today too. Mind you it was only cleaning house but I figure burning calories is burning calories. Right? As a result of keeping my food log I realized I'm not getting enough protein in so I went out and purchased some protein bars and protein powder to make shakes. That will help me with getting the amount I need daily. Well, I just wanted to check in and let everyone know how my day went. Bring on Day 2!!!!

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Thanks ladies. I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself. I'm even getting my 13 year old involved. He is going to take daily walks with me after he gets home from school. As for how you can support and encourage me, just keep doing what you're doing. Day 2 went just as well as day 1. I kept my food diary accurately, got my protein in, and all of my water. To keep myself on the straight and narrow I have made my food diary public. Anyone who cares to view it can go to: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/mikesgirl4evr I need to make myself accountable and that's one way I can do it. Hope everyone had a great day today. I'm looking forward to tomorrow!!
Great job! You are definately and inspiration! Keep going strong and know I am in your corner! Glad your son is getting involved too...It will be very beneficial for him as well!
