Today's the Day!
I check into the hospital at 10:15 this morning for my noon surgery! I'm excited, nervous, and still thinking a lot about the logistics of being there for two days (although I do have everything figured out). I'm worried about very practical things (when I get home Wednesday and can't drive, how will I get my daughter to her play rehearsal from 6-9 pm?), how will I manage things like groceries when I get home and can't lift? I'm not particularly worried about the surgery itself, which seems strange, but I like it!
I expect to have my laptop once I'm moved to my room (my mom will drop it off to me). If that works out, I'll check in here tonight. If not, I'll post when I get home Wednesday!

Congrats lady and welcome to the losers bench!!!!
Maybe you can see if another parent could transport your daughter for you? And on the groceries... why not ask them to bag them up lightly in more bags, then your daughter can help with them and it won;t hurt you to bring a bag at a time in too. Just a thought.
See you on the other side! WOOO HOOOOO
