I have found a website for Unjury Protein powders. Has anybody tried them and are they as good as they claim. Need to start stocking up on protein powders. Thanks

I have tried them, I tried the unflavored..and it is not unflavored to me.. tastes like powedered milk.. gag!.. but many love the brand.. and many love nectar fuzzy naval.. and many love GNC or WALMART..

I would say sample...do not jump to buying alot til you find one that agrees with you esp after surgery..this was adviced numerous times on here, and I find it to be the best advice to follow.. I went to GNC and Vitamin Stores and any place that had small samples to buy to get free and I like GNC..but too costly. I am wanting to try the fuzzy naval flavor..but never did..

I do know www.bariactricadvantage.com will send samples if you request and they are stocked..
Good luck in finding a poweder that works for you!

I like the vanilla and the chicken soup flavored quite well. Unflavored is not too bad to me. Never tried choc. DO NOT like the strawberry sorbet, and I am a stawberry flavor lover..but it is very watered down tasting to me.

I agree don't stock up tooooo much until you know your tastes won't change after wls.

Get samples of several brands, try them after surgery to see what tastes best to you. Carnation instant breakfast (sugar free) is also an option. I added my protein powder to this during the immediate post op time. Counts as fluids and protein.

Stock up on sugar free popsicles, still love them after a year out from surgery.

I forgot about the carnation instant breakfast. I have tried that and actually like it.

I have a question regarding the sugar free stuff, I read the labels and some of them have a sugar alcohol to them. Is there a limit on the sugar alcohol that we shouldn't be eating? for instance I hear 8 grams of sugar is safe to eat w/o out getting sick. What is the limit on the sugar alcohol that is safe to consume w/o getting sick.

Thanks,
