I was looking at my book and I wanted to know what you ate during those times besides light yogurt, pudding, milk, peanut butter shakes, protein shakes, homemade smoothies and clear broth. i know u guys said no mashed potatoes but my list says i can have them during my puree phase. but what about tomato soup and jello that isnt red? what kinds of soups can you have and what else can you eat? i want to make sure that i have everything i need for a few weeks because we live in a 3rd floor apartment and i will feel more in control of what i can eat if all my choices are here. and how on earth do you get 60 grams of protein in?

It sounds like your diet is similar to mine. Mashed potatos are a okay, and you can have chicken and turke pureed, tuna fish pureed, and very soft fish fillet ex. Broiled, boiled, mashable with your fork aka tilapia. However I can tell you while you want to eat something good, you might be too scared of hurting the pouch so go your pace.

Your list is pretty right on, I had mashed potatoes, but small amounts, it is cause of the non protein, which you need first.. but I did not have to worry about protein til 2 weeks.. my 1st 2 weeks was clear liquids.. til I saw my Dr.. here is what I had:
0 calorie sobe life water.. I loved them
gatorade- I referred purple
Apple juice- diluted
chicken broth
broth from homemade soups
sugar free jello-orange
sugarfree pudding-after week 1
green tea with splenda- warm/room temp it made my tummy feel better
coffee with non dairy sugar free creamer and splenda

this was my 2 weeks then I moved on to:
yogurt- activia light blueberry- watch the sugars in other yogurts
pudding- added protein in choc sugarfree( scooped into bowl so mixing was easier)
mashed potatoes( small amounts)
tuna( smash with fork, and chew to mush in mouth very smallo bites at time)
white fish- baked in over in casserole dish with lemon pepper and ff butter spray.. YUMMO- eat one small bite at time.. do not rush nexy bite wait to see how pouch handles each food
babyfood-turkey in broth-n yes I did it.. I heated it up and ate on babyspoon, did good for me :)
babyfood- cereal with fruit..lol yup thought of it as pudding
babyfood- carrots
babyfood- sweetpotatoes
then I went on to reg cooked carrots and sweet potatoes- could mu**** up in mouth and much better for me.. and the serving you will do is about a tablespoon.. maybe less..depend on your pouch
Also I ate small curd fat free cottage cheese with fruit.. I got canned fruit in water.. do not get the ones in syrup, will make you sick. I love cottage cheese, so not a problem with it- it can be purees alone by chewing really really good.. just go slow as some can not handle milk products.
my protein shakes was 8 oz with skim milk and 1 scoop of vanilla creme whey isolate advanced body fortress,. I mixed with different flavors.. peanutbutter not for me..lol.. it was difficult to get in the 8 oz.. took over hour then I read some Drs are telling their patients to drink 2 ozs at time.. so means you mix smaller amounts.. cause the protien from my understanding is no good after few hours.. I have to get in 80 grams of protien, so I was doing 3 servings of 8 oz protein shakes a day.. on top of trying to eat.. but I did shakes first..then food.. liquids will flush out the food and then its a wasted meal and remember to wait 30 mins to drink after eating.. including soft foods and purees..
I did not do tomatoe soup.. for acid n tomatoes..and I have Gerd and was not happening.. lol..

So I was stocked up on my first listed items.. and it got me through .. however.. if you feel like you can not handle getting in enough liquids.. I would fill a 8 oz cup at time..and would sip it , took 2 hours... and I started at 5-6 am.. to get my 48-64 oz of liquids in.. I made it to 48 oz the first week.. was hard, each week I was able to drink more.. oh and small sips.. just enough to rest on your tongue.. practice now that way your used to it..

I am trying to rack my brain on what I ate.. but I think this is it for 2 weeks.. I do recall getting in some refried beans in puree phase.. but you wont eat alot..

and make sure your near a bathroom the first 2 weeks lol..
I hope this helps!

Tomato soup is loaded with sugars and carbs... best to avoid this. Also mashed potato is ok in tiny bits, but be careful as they are a carb that could trigger cravings. Focus on protein.. Shakes work well early on.
During puree phase cottage cheese mashed with a fork works well, yogurt (no fruit chunks) refried beans, scrambled eggs smashed with a fork. Tiny lil bites of all of it. You never know what your pouch will accpet and what it won't day to day. Also you do not want to stress your incision lines internally.

As for the yogurt, greek is higher in protein. Get some plain and then flavor with crystal light to get the taste you are in the mood for each day. Just takes a touch of the crystal light powder to flavor it.

My only word of advice is that you will want to focus on your protein, but don't stress about it during this phase, you'll get most of your protein from the protein shake.  Best of luck with everything!
