Had an oopsie moment.

I messed up.  Here's what happened.

Yesterday morning I left for work early and got there at 8:30am.  I hopped into the vehicle to do a transport of the one year old.  At about 9am, I had an egg, hard boiled.  At 10:30am, when I got to my destination, I bombed their bathroom, almost didn't make it.  Out of shame, I didn't EAT anything until 2PM.  I thought I'd be fine just sipping my Gatorade so I wouldn't go to the bathroom again.

When I dropped the baby back home at 4PM, I started feeling lightheaded and nauseated.  I had to run to the nearest corner store and bought a Nutrament because that's what they carried.  Sat down and sipped at it and felt like my head was going to explode.  My calves were cramped up.  I felt nauseous.  I felt dizzy and really bad.

About half hour after the Nutrament, I started to feel much better.

Lesson learned.  EAT!

Oh goodness.. be careful... Im glad things didnt get worse.. try to keep lil snacks you can nibble on that wont make you the bathroom queen of day but keep your sugar leveled.. even juice diluted if needed keep on hand in case you can not eat.. I had issues with getting light headed and etc..it was sugar dropping.. but I am good now.. Definitly a lesson learned.. be careful and I am glad your ok..

Absolutely no skipping meals.. You get in so little already, your body must have nutrtion at regular intervals, even when you do not feel hungry. Maybe try to keep some pre-mixed carnation instant breakfast (no sugar added) on hand for times like this.

Do not feel shame... its all part of this journey. and If you gotta go you gotta go! But you also gotta eat!

Glad you are self aware and took the time to get something in you.

Hi Jane,

I'm a new member as of today and I read your story.  I hope you are beginning to feel better.  I always carry a small snack with me like a protein bar in my purse just in case I get hungry.  Yes, you must eat.
