Online Food Journals?

Anyone know of a good online food journal? I had a doctor's appointment today and my doctor would like me to track the number of calories in a day I eat.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Lourdes

There are several online food journals and most of them are good. The one I have used most this year is www.caloriecount.com. Another good one (in my opinion) is www.fitday.com and if finding friendly message boards in addition to a journal is your thing, try www.myfitnesspal.com.

Bet of luck

I'll add www.sparkpeople.com because it's like a social networking site for people who want to track and also has some apps for your cellphone to help you track like that.

I've used fitday.com.  I didn't know there were so many places to choose from.

My daily plate is another excellent one. google it as I can't remember the url..sorry!
Also OH has a type of food and excercise tracking program as well. Just not as easy to use last time I looked at it, as the others mentioned. Daily plate is a really comprehensive and free one.

good luck!

Thanks everyone! I will start looking into these websites today.  It's funny just a year ago, I was told to count calories to lose weight, and now I'm being told to track them to make sure I'm getting enough calories. LOL!  Gotta love it.
