I caught a cold, but hanging in.. I noticed lately I have not been feeling up to participating in groups and posts as I used to,, I just want to read and then thats it.. I been busy but I want to not do anything either.. maybe touch of depression.. who knows.., its not from RNY.. I get this every winter.. so wanted to let everyone know, I may not be posting, but I am around somewhere during the week.. I will try to get out of the fix I am in soon.. but if I am not responding,, or seem distant.. I am sorry.. I am enjoying reading and learning and still researching , never ends.. In mean time, I want to Tell everyone Hi and  Hope you all have a better month an those who are having problems, keep your faith.. hang in there..

Thanks for checking in. So sorry you are in a funk. Many people do this when winter begins to move in, and there is less warmth and sunshine. Keep you chin up and come here and post if we can help encourage and support you in any way.

 Know that you are not alone.  This will pass.  I do it every winter as well.  Think that the only reason I have not been in a funk lately is because of the excitement of my pending surgery.  I think there is research out there saying that there is a higher incidence of depression.  This is due to lack of sunshine which aides in production of melatonin. 

You do what you have to do for yourself.  We are here when you want to talk. Afterall this is about YOU right now. Sometimes it helps to just read posts and sometimes it helps to respond to them.

I also understand what you are going through.  I have Bipolar disorder and lean towards more the depressive side than manic and it gets worse at this time of the year, although my funk isn't weather related, more like the holiday is the problem.

Post when you can and definitely don't quit reading; it helps alot even if you don't respond.
