Happy Friday
Not sure where the week has gone, but it has gone. Friday, glad to say that I installed the last ceiling tile yesterday. 16 boxes of tiles installed. Looks mighty fine too. I then started on the knotty pine for the walls. I can see my new quilting space taking shape. Just a few more things, then I can move my fabric stash. Those things include heat, electricity, finishing the walls, extension jams and trim for the windows, closet doors and a floor covering. I am getting by with a small space heater for the moment. Keeps me from freezing while I work on the space. More good news, the installer arrived to start the garage doors, about time, having garage doors means no more scraping ice and snow off the car before venturing out.
Temp today is in the single digits above zero. The layers of snow, at least 12 inches so far have the appearance of glitter. Dennis has been moving the snow, go Dennis. I do not care for shovelling, the snowblower helps too.
What are your plans for the weekend? I am scheduled to work nights. Got a 'call' shift last night, so off to the garage for more knotty pine installation. My spare moments all weekend will be the same, get my 'space' completed. I sat for a few moments and just dreamed of the things that I will be able to accomplish. Creative ideas are streaming around in my head.
Are you doing your best to get in your liquids, proteins and supplements? How about exercise? I admit that I need to get back to the gym. I have been getting between 6000 and 10000 steps in on my pedometer, that is 3-5 miles, without even leaving the property. That is a lot of step climbing, ladder climbing and just taking a few steps this way and that as I work on the garage. I can tell that I need more aerobic activity. Soon, very soon.

Hi Kathy!
It sounds like you still have a ways to go with the new space but you're well on your way!
In response to your question: no, I am not getting my supplements, proteins and liquids in. I think I have an ulcer because I have had a "nervous" stomach for several weeks. Eating certain things hurt. I'm still losing weight but I don't know about inches because I haven't been to the gym and that's where I was getting measured. I am on full disability now; I won my case a few months ago but my condition is worsening and exercise is just about impossible. My hubby bought me that adult size tricycle and the last time I rode it I tipped over. Anyway, I was able to get into a size 10 pant last time I went shopping but 12 is really more comfortable for me. But I feel like I'm in a stall right now with no weight loss.
I hope you are doing better than I am in that department.
Colleen

Focus on one of the above things you are NOT getting in.. just one for now, and begin to increase it. Take baby steps if you must. Then when you get that in place, begin to tackle another area. Soon, you will be right where you need to be. We will talk soon!
Hugs and love!

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Sounds like it's coming along. So glad.
My weekend has been good so far. I am a little worried because there's a lot of Christmas shopping left to do for the kids. Other than that, I've been well, focusing on getting my protein in in other ways because the protein shakes taste disgusting. lol
Take care. =)

Hey Kathy! Glad to hear the girl cave is coming along s nicely! Its a good thing you possess such a variety of skills, and can do so much of the work yourself.. because if I recall correctly, your sweety is not quite so talented in these areas? lol.
Have fun dreaming and creating your space. How fun! How exciting! I know you can't wait to be all set up in there.
