Well tomorrow is the day i return to Mexico to have my bit of revisional work done on my platics. Plane takes off at 6 am sharp! Will be a very early morning around here. Will have to leave the house by 4 am at the latest. Thats hoping an hour at the airport will be sufficient.

Surgery is on Monday morning. Not having tons done.. just a bit of touch up and removal of a buried suture. Should be much easier this time around. We shall see. Will post when I am able to.

You all take excellent care of yourselves and each other in my abscence ok?
Hugs and love to all!

You're much braver than I am.  I just keep thinking about having surgery, alone in a foreign country.  I hope all goes well for you and please let us know as soon as you can how you are doing.

Brave? I dunno.. maybe dumb..lol. Naw, I was there in February, although not alone, but I am comfortable with the whole thing. Just seems no one else is..lol. BUT thats when I just have to tell them this is something I need to do for me. and sometimes I have to allow myself to be my priority. I know they care and are just concerned for my wellbeing. I will call ask Dr S to call kathy and update her, and will ask her to update you all. If Dr S cannot call her, then I will be sure she can be in touch with my hubby who Dr S has assured me, he will call when all is done. Then when i am able to get on the internet I will post.

Thanks for caring.

LOL... I love you too Amalia! I will be FINE... I am confident. This time around will be very minor compared to the first round. And after being there in February, I am comfortable with being there. The Dr. has a driver he sends to the airport to pick me up and take me to my hotel. Then the night before surgery, the doctor picks me up takes me to the hospital, marks my body with a sharpie, for where he plans on doing any incisions then returns me to the hotel. Then in the morning the surgeon or his driver picks me up and takes me to the hospital for surgery. I stay in the hospital a couple of days, then they drive me back to the hotel. When it is time to go home, they drive me to the airport.  If there is anywhere else i want or need to go, there is a hotel shuttle. BUT I don't plan on running much. Just recouperating, resting, relaxing and enjoying the "me time"

The HEB is right outside the hotel, along with a shopping center and restaraunts, so anything I need will be right outside my door, and I will keep my wandering to daylight hours. There will be another lady I met here on OH there (she is there now actually) the whole time I am plus a day, and her hubby is with her. We will probably do any outtings to the store together. But in all honestly, it wasn't bad there at all, unless you count the way they drive there.. now that could scare anyone! Never saw anything like it in my life..

Monterrey is not a border town, so there isn't much trouble around there, and it is one of the wealthier city's in Mexico. One thing I noticed when I was there last time, is people are very much the same all over the world. Families at the shopping center, couples holding hands, kids running, laughing playing... Only trouble is I can't understand a word they say to me...haha!

Yep will drop a line as soon as I possibly can, and will have Kathy update you on Monday after she hears from the doc or my hubby on how my surgery went.
Hugs!
