HAPPY & HEALTHY THANKSGIVING WISHES!!!!

I wish for you all to have a very happy Thanksgiving day tomorrow, and to be strong and not let all of those temptations get the best of you. Focus on enjoying the people you are with, and the healthy selections available to you, and be strong!

The dreaded food packed holiday season is upon us. We must remember why we are on this jurney, and what put us here, and choose from there. Before you take that bite of something you know may not be good for your wls, ask yourself... IS THIS POUCH WORTHY? Did I go through WLS and all the hoops and risks and challenges, to let THIS continue to have control over me? AND if you really need to indulge in something not so good for your wls, then pick just ONE item, and allow a bite or two...only after you have consumed the healthy stuff... This will help keep the guilt, weight and regrets to a minimum.

Hugs to you all.

Pouch worthy - I'm going to use that this holiday season.  That really hit me.  Did I go through wls with all the risks and challenges so I can still be controlled by food?  No.  Asking myself that will definitely help me resist temptations.

Hope everything goes well in Mexico.  Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you so much! I am hoping so too!

I am glad you found that suggestion helpful. Usually when i put it out there like that it will strike a cord with wls'ers. If we listen to the truth of the answer, it will go a long way in our success for a lifetime.

Hugs!
