All moved into the new place.  YEAH!!!  Now all I have to do is slowly unpack.  But we got the important stuff unpacked.  I do need to put all the clothes in the dresser..  living out of hampers ATM.

Every muscle in my body is aching.  I have been taking so many hot showers.  What I wouldn't give for a massage, but it will have to wait until next week.  Gonna see if I can get one scheduled for Tuesday (my day off).  Til then I will be taking hot showers and extra strength Tylenol.

Have no desk right now, so my laptop is actually in my lap, which isn't very comfortable for too long.  Definitely not the best way to type.  Can we say, carpal tunnel!!!!

1. months left to go before surgery.  I am thankful that the move has kept my mind off from the surgery.  I have a feeling that December it wont be as easy.

Congrats on getting all moved.. Dont strain yourself too much before surgery.. you need your body to not have extra pain.... so hope the massage does it for you and take it easy.

I do not think december will be too hard on you, I thought november would be for me,, but honestly , Food means nothing to me but to survive now.. I was addicted to carbs..and I can sit and be around food now and actually not want it or crave it.. its crazy.. but you will be ok.. and the holidays.. I love cooking.. so I been baking for thanksgiving knowing I cant eat it, but I am enjoying my self.. I can sniff all I want.. HAHA

I will be crossing fingers for you, and pray for you to have a healthy and easy recovery :)

Oh sweet torture.  I dont know how you can bake and smell it and NOT eat it.  hehehe.  I pray that I will be able to sit in front of others eating stuff that I shouldnt be eating and not want to eat it.

I promise to get some R&R before surgery.

So glad you got all moved, especially before your surgery.

So sorry you are in such pain. Moving is a lot of work, then working on top of that...ahhh I can only imagine!

This time is going to fly by for you as you await your wls. One thing that helped me get through it was to educate myself as much as possible on everything about my procedure, eating plan, supplements, etc. This not only helped me feel more comfortable, but helped the time go by easier.

Suggestion for you:  Take a large bath towel, get it wet with warm or ho****er. Put it in a large garbage bag (folded to fit in it). Heat it in the microwave until it is as hot as you can stand it without burning yourself. Then lay on your tummy on the bed or couch, drape the heated towel (in the bag still) over your back, then put a blanket over you to help retain the heat.  This is one of the best hot packs you can use, and using a towel, you can cover mostof your back and the moist heat penetrates better even tho it is in a bag.

Feel better soon!
Hugs.

I've done a smaller version of this before and it does help.  I have since invested in these bean bag thingies which you can freeze or heat up.  I have one that covers my shouders and upper back like a bib.  I do use it for the lower back as well.  My back is less sore. Thank goodness.  No more lifting left to do.  Just the unpacking and sorting.  I am off on monday, so I will aim to atleast get all the clothes hung up adn put away.  Oh yeah.  Need to locate the laundry facility on the premises.  hehe
