It was the best thing I ever did.

Gril... You have NO CLUE how lucky you are that you didn't end up with intestinal blockage due to the intestine herniating through the tear!

I am really glad they got you all fixed up and you are on your road to recovery. Now please do not over do it, or you can recreate that or another hernia easily! Allow yourself time to mend and heal.

Hope your oooooowwwwwwwwwwwyyyyyyyyyyyyyy is better in no time!
Hugs!

My husband had a hernia repair surgery a couple of years back, and it was pretty painful for him too.
Sending you wishes for a speedy and healthy recovery from this. Hugs coming at you!

Patrece, Thank you so very much. I needed that hug...... Even though I am feeling better then yesterday I just woke up from my nap and WOW I am in pain and I have to wait 2 more hours before I can take a pain pill..... my daughter ran to the store to get some pain patches... I hope they help for the in between time..... this really sucks!
So your hugs are so very welcomed and I thank you for them... well I am going to try some deep breathing until she gets back.

Hugs, Lisa

How often are your pain meds allowed? When I had my plastics and hit a point where I had a lot of pain, I took pain meds every 6 hrs, and took tylenol in between to help tide me over until the next dose was due.  6 hours was too long and the pain pils only worked for about 3 or 3 1/2 hrs on me.

Lots more hugs coming at you! Very gentle but heartfelt hugs!

Thanks, I will take all I can get...... I take the pain meds every 6 hours but like you after 3 it starts to hurt... I was told I could not take anything else in between but I am going to do it any ways.... tylonal is better then nothing... we tryed the pain patches and they did not do anyhing for me but made my skin numb.

well I am going to go have dinner....... so glad my kids are here to do all this stuff I do not think I could handle this without them.

Hugs, Lisa Anne
