I am so sorry to hear this Cathy. My heart and prayers are with you both. PLEASE feel free to call or PM me if you need to talk, or need some encouragement.
I certainly understand the stress eating...but maybe you and I can work on a plan for you. because stress eating after wls will only cause more stress and less loss. And it isn't going tohelp you feel better in the long term.
Hugs and love and concern coming your way. So sorry the numbers are going up with Ed.

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
OK, I've been bedridden with the mother of all flus these past 10 days or so but I am surfacing long enough to try to respond to your post, Patrece.
I was very lucky. I found OH a couple of months before my surgery and I found much of the help I needed throughout this crazy journey right here. WLS has been a lonely journey for me and would have been much lonelier had I not found this haven. Many of my questions have been answered even before I thought to ask them on this site, simply be reading what everyone else had to say.
I had all sorts of questions regarding my operation, what I was to expect after the sugery, whether the Sleeve would work for me, details on what exactly I was supposed to do to make weight loss happen for me like it did for so many others and I needed lots and lots of reassurance that it would work for me as well as it did for others. (I still need the latter BTW!)
My only source was the net. My surgeon did his job, gave me the literature, followed up for a bit, but I have so many complex problems due to the MS, he did not have much hope for me. He gave me hopes for a 20 kg loss. I have now lost over 35 kg and I'm still going strong! I have only OH to thank for that. You guys never gave up on me. More than that, the direct and indirect encouragement I got on this site contributed to the fact that I never gave up on me.
I'm not there yet. I need to lose 25-30 kg more and whether you like it or not, you are stuck with me for a good long while longer!
It is my feeling that what we losers-to-be need more than anything else is the asurance that it can happen for us too. We need to realize that weight loss after WLS is not the exception it's the rule, no matter how many times we tried and failed before. Modern surgery gave us a precious tool in the form of a small stomach and if we stick to the rules more or less, eventually we will achieve our goal. I wish I had this assurane clearly stated beforehand so that I could forego much of the stress I went through the first few months when I was not losing fast enough (I thought). I no longer have doubts (not many anyway!) I know that sooner or later the rest of this excess weight will go wherever the previous fat went and I WILL become a "normal" person. I would have PAID to have had this assurance when I first got started 9-10 months ago.
