Good morning all!

It's a little chilly here in Detroit but I am going to do my best to get a bike ride in later when the temps warm up.

I lost another pound and a half and I was doing the happy dance when I was on the scale!  It's so weird to be almost there.  I never thought it would be possible to get this far; I remember thinking how great it would be if the best I could do was 190.  I was willing to settle for that.  Now that I'm at 166 I'm not going to settle for anything other than my goal weight (or less) because my goal weight just pushes me into the healthy BMI range.  I posted some new pics last night and couldn't stop staring at them; what a difference a year makes.

I am going to also try to get my son to get the Wii Fit that we have gathering dust up and running and see if there are exercises I can do either sitting or standing and holding on to a chair.  Exercize has been a major concern for me due to medical issues.  I have even gone so far as to lie to the surgeon about it.  He is a stickler for exercise and the dizziness and lightheadedness just don't allow for much.  I'm starting to become a little alarmed by this orthostatic hypotension.  In the last week I've had 3 different people tell me my driving is scary.  The doctor says it could be a sign that the condition is worsening.  Yippee.

I am currently getting by without any pain meds.  I used what I had for the surgery.  My neck and my back are both killing me.  I saw my PCP yesterday and because he has me seeing the pain specialist he refused to prescribe anything.  So I just have to suck it up and hang in there until I have this thing done to my neck on Thursday.

On the bright side, I was able to purchase and actually wear a really cute push-up bra and matching panties.  The size officially puts me in the running for shopping at Victoria's Secrets, which I fully intend to do when I get my next check.  I'm going to buy one of their wonder bras.  The girls are looking really sad but the push up bra is making all the difference.  Can't wait till spring;  that's when hubby gets his bonus and I get boobs.

Well that's it for me.  Going to give the kitchen a thorough going over today; it needs it bad.

Gotta lovethose push up bras! LOL. Even after a "boob" job, some shirts are just way more complimentary with the extra lift...lol

Congrats on the weight loss again! How awesome! I wonder colleen, if you should find another doc to follow up with on the orthostatic hypotension? Different docs have different eexperiences and knowledge. Not saying your doc isn't right, or doing all possible, just wondering if there may be something else that may be getting overlooked in treating, managing or identifying the cause. PLEASE be careful if your driving is being affected. Don't wanna put your life or others at risk.. just not worth it my friend. I love you and intend to have you around for a long time to come!

Have a great weekend.

I echo the thoughts on safety Colleen, drive safely, do not put yourself or others into danger. Congrats on getting so near to goal. It is Sunday here already. Time to start with renewed effort with November just around the corner. Hugs
