Good morning everybody!

Yes, I'm back to my boring daily check ins.  I guess I really do it more for me than for anybody else.  If someone reads it and can relate that's wonderful, if not, writing out my morning thoughts is good for me.

I noticed that if I post to the group in the morning, I am less likely to get off track with my eating during the day.  I do not experience dumping syndrome and truthfully that was something I was counting on.

I am getting ready to jump in the shower and then head off to my best friend's house.  We get together once a week to shop and gab and do whatever.  Last week, we built steps from her French doors in the kitchen to the back yard so the dog could go in and out.  I never did anything like that before.  It was kind of fun but I'm much more the girly girl than she is and I also don't have her confidence for doing things like that.  But in the end they came out pretty good and they are only temporary until they build the deck next spring (they just moved).

My husband won't be going back to work for at least 2 more weeks.  His leg isn't healing as fast as it should due to the diabetes, but is getting a little better.  He is currently in the kitchen adding ingredients to something in a bowl.  When I asked him what he was making he said he didn't know.  I ran away and am glad I won't be here for whatever comes out of the oven when he's finished. He has been on a bread making kick this week and even my mom yelled at him (playfully) because she put on 5 pounds with all the carbs.  I have been having a bite here and there but really trying to stay away.

My jewelry business is officially closed.  I had over a thousand hits in a month on my website but no sales.  I kept pouring money into and nothing coming back.  But I tried and learned alot and am going to be using all my beads for making rosaries and chaplets and am still going to make toe-thongs and earrings.  I just started going back to church in the spring after being away for years.  I am taking adult RCIA classes so that I can make my confirmation next year.  I am going to make a rosary for all the students and leaders in my class.  That will keep me busy for awhile.

Well it's almost time to hit the shower and the road.  See ya all tomorrow!

Good morning to you again Colleen, it is morning here right now. Well sort of, twenty after midnight.  That is very early in the morning.

I walked the dogs late this evening, noted that the moon looked cool peaking around the light clouds.  I am admiring the drying cement in the backyard.  Spent part of my vacation watching the cement being worked and believe it or no****ching cement drying.  Waiting till I could put the date and the dogs paw prints in the corner of the apron.  Dennis can't see why anyone would want to put a date in fresh concrete, didn't want anything to mar the pristine surface.  We waited till the time was right in the drying and made our marks anyway.  I will look back on the date marked with fond memories of the process.

I saw Patrece off for her return home this morning, the house seems empty.  I can't wait till next June when I head to CO for the wls retreat.  Hope to see you there too.  Are you finding something else to fill your time with the ending of the bead business plan?  Do do something that you like.  I am glad I am not around for your hubbies carb binge.  Breads smell so good as they are baking.

I do hope that his leg wound heals.  Help him to take the best care of his diabetes.  I do not miss taking the insulin, now a thirteen months without it for me.  Yayyyyyyy wls.
