YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost  year ago I bought a woman's football jerzey in the size that I was (2x) got home went to try it on and cried, there was no way I was gonna get the shirt on, tried it on, yea not happening. I called it my goal shirt, every time I looked at it and told myself one day I will wear that shirt. TODAY IS THAT DAY!!!! Woke up and the hubby reminded me it was football Sunday, dressed the kids in football attire ( girls in cheer leading costumes, and little man in a football jerzey) Gave the hubby his shirt out of his closet, and saw mine. figured what the hey I'll try it on, I walked out of the room crying, everyone looked at me to see what was wrong and i screamed it fits, and its not tight not uncomfortable, there was actually room in it. I was sooooo happy. I didn't get pictures today, as it was a crazy day. But will have pictures in the next week or so posted.

Tonight I was going through someones facebook page, and saw pictures of me almost to date a year ago. I got upset, I don't know that person anymore. I was big, had no energy. was not happy with myself. I said something to my hubby about it. He goes but look at you today! Look how healthy you are and look. I say it all the time, and it is from the heart. I love my life choice/change. Love who I am today! So glad I took this road in life. Now if I can just figure out why my stomach hurts at night all will be good. Go to the doctors Wednesday morning, will talk to them about it.

Best wishes to all, hope everyone is doing well. I am so glad for the season change, I love the fall colors but not sure if I am really ready for the cold. Since I have lost almost 90 pounds, I am always cold (even when it is HOT), and just the thought of cold weather ... brrrrrrrr .. hahaha .. although positive note ... SHOPPING TIME! Need fall and winter clothes, hahahaha ... look out old navy here I come.

CONGRATS to you! I think I remember a post long ago about that shirt! WOOOO HOOOO you did it girl! I am so happy for you and proud of you!

I hear you on the cold thing... I go through that too.. have since right after surgery.  Funny thing is it ended right after my hysterectomy. I had one ovary left afterthat, but it was in shock so was having menopausal stuff like hot flashes...lol. Now.. the chills are back. Oh well... small price to pay huh?

Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Melissa.  I too, remember the post about the jersey last fall.  You did it and should be proud of your accomplishments.  I find that I am liking long sleeved t-shirts for the first time in my life.  Before surgery, I could get by with any short sleeved t, even in winter.  Just dressed warmer when going outdoors.  Now the longer sleeves feel best.  It is something that we just deal with.  Not having the sweats at the drop of a hat is great.  I still have an episode of 'hot flash' type sweating, but not with the frequency as before surgery.  Hey, menopause is here.  Not missing the hormonal changes during the month.  Yayyyyyyy.  I will take a hot flash every now and then.

I walked home from work yesterday morning, there was frost on the grass and all the windshields.  This evening, the curbs are littered with all the falling leaves.  Hmmmmmmm, I do love the sound of walking through dry leaves in the fall.  Crunch, crunch.
