So far, so good. It was difficult to do the gratitude list this morning. I have plenty to be grateful for, but fear is alive and well for me now and it kept breaking into my thoughts. It's quite a distraction.
I already did something just for myself today - got my hair cut. I'm losing hair now (3-1/2 mo. out) and so she added layers and went shorter to make it look thicker. I like it, but it'll take some time getting used to the length.
Have a great day. Thanks for the challenges.

You are very welcome for the challenges.
Thanks for sharing your experience with it this morning. This can be really common to happen during this time. One thing this reveals to us is that we tend to begin our day with immediate thoughts of worry, fear, stress, etc. This morning practice helps break us out of this habit and really can set us up for a much better day. With continued use of this practice, you will get better at keeping the focus on all of the positives. There's a whole day ahead to deal with the rest.
Glad to hear you did something nice for yourself! Hope you grow to love your new style. To help with hair thinning, be sure you get in all protein you should, as hair is made up of protein, so thats the first place the body will hold it back from when there's not enough, as it is considered the least essential protein need by the body. Also ...try getting biotin. It stimulates new hair growth and healthier hair.

I had a chance to take a long hot bubble bath last night and relaxed without hearing my boys fighting, yelling ect.. It was nice. On monday I was able to read my Bariatric Center of the Rockies book about my surgery and what to expect without distraction. I also was able to join your online chat which was very rewarding. Today I am gonna take a 2 mile walk and relax and enjoy the fresh air. I know things can be stressful but I always feel like things have away of working themselves out. That keeps me pretty grounded and less stressful days. Thanks for all the support Patrece. You are great. Hugs..xoxoxo
