I'm calm, I'm calm, really I am!
So I was pissed. I think I was more pissed because I didn't want to accept full responsibility for my choices and needed someone to blame
Thanks to all of you for your replies and trying to get me to rethink my position. I do like my PCP and have never had a problem before. Although I am disappointed; perhaps it was an over-site and so on that note, I will talk to her about how I felt and why, maybe find some way for us to work together. Although I am being more rational than before I will not simply let this slide under a mat some where. I hope that no other problems occur or else I will have to change my PCP. For now she is a keeper.
I hate when my temper gets hold. I have had a few days to think it over and have come to some clearer understandings of what I expect from myself.
Thank you guys again I really appreciate it.
P.S., by 10/08/10 I should have my official surgery date and so I will keep you all posted.

Woooooo hoooooooooo... looking forward to knowing your surgery date.
Glad you are calmer now. Glad too you are prepared to be honest with her on how you feel. It is important for her to know this. I get a bit of a temper now and then, but I have mellowed so much with age, and with life experiences teaching me it only makes things worse for me..and doesn't help a doggone thing.
You are welcome for the support. Glad to be here for you.

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Gigi, love your posts. Honesty is the best policy. Start a list of what you expect from your pcp. Read from this list when you state your case. Do try to take a few deep breathes as you reassess any situation. It is amazing how our emotions can overtake everything rational.
I admire the changes I am seeing in you over the last few weeks. Take this one step at a time, the process is a bit slow at times for a good reason, to make sure that we are absolutely ready when we take the big step and actually have the surgery.
Bottling up emotions and feeding them instead of letting them escape is a problem that many of us share. Learning to express our needs takes practice. Practice makes perfect, or at least closer to perfect with time.
Looking forward to hearing "I have a date" from you one of these days. Hugs and a deep breath too.

I just got done reading your first post on this subject so I know I'm kind of late in replying but I have to agree with those who are taking the "it was a mistake" approach. Or it could be that your doctor doesn't make the determination based on that number.
You are getting to the best part; you will be getting your date soon. Hang in the Gigi. The pre-op stuff can be so draining when you just want to get the surgery done and over with. I'll keep you in my prayers.
