Bariatric Buddy
New challenge... for everyone at any stage! Even pre-op!
My challenge to you all for this week is to do the following each day for 3 days!
1. Take 10 to 15 minutes each morning before your feet hit the flor to reflect on all of the good thins you have and are accomplishing and working toward, and giving yourself credit for each small step you have taken, even appointments that are helping t propel you in the right direction. We spend much too much time criticizing ourselves and not enough time recognizing what we do that is good. Keep all negative thoughts out of this short time period and embrace the good things you have done, have been blessed with and are thankful for. This provides a powerfully positive start to our new day.
2. Take just a few mments each of these 3 days and do something nice for YOU and only you during this short time. Something you enjoy, want to try, a hot relaxing bubble bath, whatever makes you feel good.
3. Remind yourself that you are a wonderful and special person no matter what anyone says or has said in the past. YOU are beautiful in your very own way and deserve to acknowledge this. Don't let anyone tell you differently!
4. Drink 64 oz of water each day for these 3 days, or more.
Check in at the end of the week and share your exeriences, feelings, etc..

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Tuesday, got in 38 oz of fluid so far, 8000 steps, including a 40 minute dog walk that was MY time. Now time for bed for this night worker. Feels good. Let's see what the later part of the day brings. Oh, yes, stopped by the gym for strength training too this am. Popped out chickie here. Toodles till later.

YEAYYYYYYYYY!!! great to have you all jumping in on this one. This one is actually very important even if it seems almost too simple. Frame of mind and positive outlook is a powerful tool for us all.
