I am getting everything together before surgery and I realized I dont have a food processor or blender. If anyone has these for sale here in Colorado let me know. I will travel to pick it up. I am just lookin for something used because its to expensive for me to purchase brand new. Thanks and if anyone know what else might be helpful let me know so I can add it to my list.

I do not have a food processor. BUT I do have some ideas for you. You can buy a very inexpensive blender or electronic chopper at walmart for less than or around $20. These can both be used to puree your foods post-op quite easily.

Hope this helps.
I too am in colorado. I don't know where hillrose is but... I am in Pueblo West. I think i may recalling you mention you are 2 hours east of denver, but not sure.

Hey Patrece that is a good idea. Would a regular blender be able to get the food to the softness I will need? What kind of protien drinks did you find that taste the best? My husband and I are going to be test tasting all next month to see what I like. I used to live in Pueblo when I was a kid. I would love to meet up sometime so we can visit and I can get to know someone who knows what Im going through and will be goin through. I do know in the next month I will be searching for a treadmill so If you know of anyone who is selling one of those let me know. I will having my surgery in Fort Collins through the Bariatric center of the rockies... Well I will talk with you soon. Thanks for your help...

a regular blender can absolutely do what you need it to. Just add a tad of liquid if needed.
I like unjury brand protein, except for the strawberry sorbet one.  I also like one called berries and whey, just cannot recall who makes it!  With unjury, I LOVE the chicken flavor one on a cool evening to warm me and nourish me. I just sip at it and really enjoy it. Sometimes I even add some veggies to it.

I'd love to meet you. Lets try to figure out when and where and how and do so soon! Will keep my eyes open for a treadmill as well for you.

Hugs!

I used my walmart stick blender for pureeing the things I needed.  The one I got also had a wisk attachment that worked well for blending shakes.

You will not be blending and pureeing things very long, then chew, chew, chew a little more.  Congrats on the surgery date, hope your hubby gets his asap too.  I know the struggle of unsupportive spouse.  Working on training mine to be supportive and eating more healthy.  Have good for both of you things at home and in the fridge.  Preparing things at home is the best way to know exactly what is in your foods, also more economical too.

Hugs
