Mission Complete! Challenge update.

Well i did the challenge today and did a pretty darned good job of it. I am behind just a tad in my water, but here in a few minutes, when I go upstairs, i will be getting in the rest of that.

I didn't even take a nap today... and am suprisingly not too pooped out. (have been recovering from strep throat, tonsilitis and sinus infection).

I do believe I'll strive to meet this challenge yet again tomorrow!

how is it going for the rest of you? If you have not yet started it, let me know when you do it, and how it goes.

Patrece, what is the challenge? Unfortunately I've been away for a while, my daughter was married in CT this past Saturday and my attention has been on that alone!

I wanted to throw out a challenge to everyone that is up for it. I think that every now and then a good ole friendly challenge can get us moving or keep us moving in the right direction, and we sometimes do better when we know there are others doing it with us and that we need to be accountable to. So here it is...

For ONE day... only ONE...   before you eat anything at all, ask yourself "is this pouch worthy?" Is it healthy, low carb, high protein, sugar free etc. IF it isn't...walk away from it. Don't even take a taste. Not the tiniest nibble. And focusing to eat only the meals / snacks / supplements we ae instructed to by our surgeon /nut. No extra snacks or picking.

Then get in at least a full 64 oz of water or other sugar free caffienne free liquids that same day, as well as ALL of your vitamin supplements.

AND 30 minutes of some kind of activity above and beyond the normal everyday ones. It can be split into two 15 minute time frames or even 3 10 minute time frames, but get that 30 minutes in.

Soooo are up up for this??? Are you willing to take just ONE day to make the absolute most of this journey in a very healthy way? Come on all...YOU CAN DO IT!!! I can too!

Lets make tomorrow our day to be fully compliant and really boost our efforts to achieve all we dream of in this journey!

I still have to stay VERY focused and concentrate on getting in all of the healthy fluids. This for me means giving up some of my coffee during the day which is hard for me, but something I need to do. So this challenge helped me be better on this. But I still had to really stay focused toget it all in. Right before bed I had to make myself stay up until i go thelastof it in.. hehehe.
We'll get there.
Great job!

Yeahhhh don't you wish the swimming could count (as water intake)... SORRY wrong.. lolol But hey can't blame ya for trying huh??? hehehe.
Seriously tho, sounds like you had a great day and I am so glad tohear you are extending the challenge for yourself yet another day.
Soooooo glad you are out of the moon boot and able to exercise again. It can make a huge difference in our feelings / moods. those feel good hormones released during exercise are awesome.

Your welcome for the challenge.. think I'll be doing this more often.
Has you husband made i home for a visit yet?

 TY Patrece,

I've had this on my mind of late. Especially since the last month has been so busy and out  of my normal routine.
Must get to the grocery store (its been 2 weeks) ugh! Why is swimming not counted as exercise? My rhuemetologist only wants me to swim/walk in the water due to the chronic arthritis. Got to get that protein up, and I set the timer to remember all the vitamins.
Will give it my best!

Anna
