Good Sunday morning to all!

I'ts been far too long since I've written to the group.  Life has been crazy the last couple of weeks.  I have been having some major league equilibrium episodes, garage sales at my friends house and then every thing moved tom my house for another 2 sales here.  We are trying to sell my Honda as there is little or no chance that I will ever be able to operate a motorcycle.  As he was wheeling it out front with the  4 Sale sign on it he knocked into one of the pedals with the inside of his ankle.  At first he didn't tell me had done it, but if finally got bad enough to where he had no choice and we took him to the ER.  He has an extremely nasty hematoma (sp?) from his knee all the way down to his toes and about 6 blood blisters that keep popping and refilling.  I've been playing nursemaid this week.  Plus, we had a trip planned to go to Shipshewana Indiana which is Amish country and he refused to cancel the trip, did far more walking than he should have and now he is just about completely bedridden for at least the next week.

Last night my aunt and uncle renewed their wedding vows for their 50th anniversary and then we all went out to dinner at a fairly upscale Italian restaurant.  I was as good as could be expected; I ate one small piece of bread, half my salad, about 5 bites of angel hair pasta with alfredo sauce and one bite of a cannolli.  It was sheer heaven!  We did a lot of walking in Indiana and I think it helped to boost my metabolism a bit.

I went out for a bike ride on my tricycle one day last week.  The weather was nice and cool and perfect for a ride.  I went to the craft store that is about 3.5 miles away.  When I was leaving, I overestimated the drop off at the edge of the parking lot and went head first over the bike.  Besides scraped knees and and a scraped elbow I'm fine, but my ego sure took a beating.  The following day I was so sore that I felt like I had gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson! LOL!

Right now, I am very pleased with weight loss, the way I am doing it and the results I am getting.  I am using my pouch exactly as I intended to in the first place.  I am down 113 pounds and I don't feel deprived of anything.  I bought some new clothes yesterday to wear to the family gathering and walked out of the store with a pair of size 14 pants.  I haven't been in a 14 since elementary school.  It was so cool to hear all the compliments and especially my uncle's SIL who said I looked absolutely phenomenol.  I need to get some new pictures to post.

In the meantime, I hope all is going well with each and every one of you.  Patrece, I've been sending many prayers your way for your grandson.  Vick, I was so sorry to hear about your father and prayers for you and your family as well.
