Home and Recovering
Good Evening!
I was released from the hospital yesterday morning and have been doing well at home. I do have some abdominal pain and really bad gas in my tummy. I have found it very hard to drink plan water for some reason. I have been eating popsicles, diluted white grape juice, broth, and ice chips. Its such a crazy feeling to feel "satisfied" with such a small amount of substance.
The surgeon said my porcedure went perfect and that he foreseas a speedy recovery. I have tons of pictures to share when I have more time to upload. I came home off half of my medication!!! Maybe even moren than half. I am only on one medication in the morning for diabetes (no insulin!), Down to one blood pressure med, Still on two cholesterol meds (boo), and my anxiety medicine! That in itself is such an accomplishment!
The staff and residents were great. I had one nasty nurse, but you cant have it all right? hahaha. Long story!!!
Feel free to ask any questions. Its not a walk in the park for sure...but, all the anxiety I built up before hand wasnt necessary! I can't wait to start seeing the results!!!!

Wooo Hoooooo! Welcome to the losers bench lady! After about 3 days, the gas was the worst part of the pain for me (other than going from sitting to lying down or vice versa). Lots of little walks will help move that out of you. Try adding some crystal light and a scoop of protein to your water. I could not tolorate plain water for a few weeks after my surgery. Made me nauseated!
How awesome to be off so many meds! Results.. COMING SOON!!!!!
Hugs!
