Qigong
I am starting a new class this week. Summer is over and the pool is closed so its time to try something new. My local rec is offering Qigong. A mix of tia chi and yoga. Went to my first standard yoga class last week and was surprised at what I could do!
It inspired me so much that I took a step class and actually used the sep..previously I could not use the step. Just proves that I am getting healthier with each lb dropped. Now I am going to begin working on balance, tone,strength..and evening out my body. one thing I have noticed is that one side of my body is stronger than the other.
Learning abut my new body is awesome and I am ready to keep testing it.

AWESOME!!!!! So proud of all that you are accomplishing! You are doing great! I need to get in more exercise than I currently have been. The pain I had been having prior to my hyst kept me from doing alot, then healing from hyst. BUT I am ready to get back at it with some gusto.
Thinking of doing a bit of bile riding for late summer and fall, with some power walking mixed in. My daughter really wants me to go to the YMCA with her, I just am BAD about that. Don't like driving all the way there and back, nor the competition of finding a machine to use.
Keep up the great work!

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Sounds interesting Ledaizey, let us know how you like it. We had someone come to the last support group meeting at the hospital where I had my surgery lead us through a zumba class. That was a lot of fun, didn't matter if we had the steps or arm moves down well, as long as we were moving. I have at least 4 left feet, lol. I am looking to see if there is a class locally, drove an hour one way for the group meeting. That is too far for day to day exercise.
I have been adding stair climbing to my exercise routine. Getting easier to go several flights without that 'rubber leg' feeling. Keep up the good work. Hugs
