Hello I am Elizabeth. I am 27. I am the mother of 3 children and sometimes one husband {LOL}. My oldest is Alexander Winter is 6, then Delilah Jezebel is 2 and Madalyn Juliet was born the Valentine's Day. I got my tubes tied because I ended being high risk with my last child. I am going to start school to be a Pharm Tech. I have been with my husband for 7 years. I have always been overweight and I also have fibromyalgia. I am hoping that once I have RNY that I will feel better and have the energy to play with my kids. I would love to talk with people

Welcome to the family Elizabeth.  I posted a reply to your other thread.  Lovely names for your children.  Best of luck on school.  I work in health care too, only night shift.  I am a nurse.  Now that I know the ages of your children, I realize that your life is busy, busy, busy.  Have the chidlren and your hubby help as they can.  Definitely preplan some meals for the family for the immediate post op time.  Easy things, nutritious too of course.

I am so gald that I had  my RNY, wishing that I had had it at your age.  My knees are singing the praises of less of me to carry about.  Hugs

Thank you both. and actually I am dating myself by a year. I am 26. I must have hit the wrong button..   Tammy: Thank you my son is named because I love the named alexander and my hubby wanted to name him Winter. my daughter Delilah is named for my grandma who passed a month after her birth and her initals were D.J. and  Madalyn is named for my mother who is Julie.   I hope you can get some relife ffrom your pain. have they tried anythin medications for your fibromyagia. I am on cymbalta and it seems to work well.

Kathy. thank you could I pre make anything for myself. I don't do any cooking normally. I am lucky that way. My hubby rocks in the kitchen. and does about 99% of the cooking. so I am not to worried about the kids. but what about myself after. or should I should I just do everything just as I need it.

Welcome Elizabeth! nice to have you here in our group! Like everyone else, LOVE those names. Congrats on being blessed with those precious children.  Also, best of luck in Pharm Tech school. My son wants to go to school to be a pharmacist, and is hoping for a job as a tech until thats completed.

You will have more energy to play with those kids of yours when the weight starts coming off. You will be amazed! I am a grammy, and I can literally run around with those kids and play for hours with them. I could have never dreamed of that before my wls.

Looking forward to traveling this journey with you.
