Surgery this past Friday, came home on Sunday.

Finally feel like a human being again today.
Dr. said everything went text book, including taking out my gallbladder.
I think the majority of my pain right now is from the gallbaldder being removed and the gas.
I can really feel the gas in my back. It comes and goes and I was finally able to pass some gas early this morning! That is my goal for the day~ pass gas!! LOL

My pouch, named "Little Missy" by my daughter seems to handle the water really well. Jello and apple juice too. I'm going to try broth this afternoon.

Wi was surprised that i gaind 4 1/2 pounds in the hoepital but half of it is gone by this morning. I'm a scale watcher

Thank you everyone for your prayers and well wishes. I truely appreciated them! Even though I wasn't on the board I knew you were all here!!

Michelle, you came home with water weight from the IV fluids.  I had an extra 10 pounds on me when I arrived home.  The fluids will shift, follow the plan set out by your surgeon and the scale will be a fallin'.  Do your best to not become addicted to stepping on it toooooo often.

Sip, sip, walk, walk, rest, repeat.  Little Missy will behave herself and become adjusted to the new routine.  The gas pains will get better pretty quickly.  Lots of short strolls helps.

Congratulations on getting to the losing side of surgery, welcome to the loser's bench.

Now the rest of the great adventure starts.  Let's wander this journey with the rest of the bariatric buddy family.  Hugs

Welcome home and to the losers bench! I am so glad to hear that all went well! You will feel a bit better each day. I think the worst f my discomfort was the gas... aside from trying to go from laying to sitting and vice versa.. The gas was a pain..lol

Definately try not to be a hostage to the scale.. it can get frustrating at times.. great at times too. I remember my first week after my RNY I got on the scale every day about 3 times, and every time it was down by at least a few oz...I was like Ohhhh yeahhhhhh... but after 11 days when i hit my first plateau... ughhhhhhhhh...

May you pass gas in peace... or loudy if you wish.. just pass it! lolol.
Keep us posted!
