Hi everyone, I know its been a while... I have had kinda of a rocky time good and bad... Good that I have gone outside my box and done things I would never have dreamed about doing when i was over 300 pounds and Bad that I have had to deal with alot of Parental BS ( My eating triggers) but I am getting back on track again and doing better as everyday goes by.... This empty nest syndrome sucks!  I am just glad that I can wake up and smile and feel good about myself and what I can do for myself..... I am planning to step outside of the box again but this time a little further and go do a 50 mile bike ride with a riders group this weekend... kinda scared since I do not know anyone but I figure what the heck I have to meet people somehow ......
Thanks for all the suport.

Hugs to all, Lisa

Congratulations on stepping outside your comfort zone Lisa. Welcome to an active life. You will have fun with the bike ride this weekend. Bring plenty of liquids and a protein snack or two. Take pics to share with us. Love to celebrate successes.

You are losing well. Do not allow family issues to lead you to feed away your stress. Keep making steps outside your comfort zone. Thanks for stopping by to share. Hugs

Congratulations on stepping otside of your comfort zone to embrace new and healthy and fun experiences! Please let us know how the ride goes! And like kathy said.. bring lots of water and some protein for energy backup! I am so inspired and awed by what you are accomplishing! You go girl!

Remember... don't let anyone or aything take your health and accomplishment away from you! Others may fail us, but we deserve to be there and strong for ourselves and not to allow others to contribute to a backslide!

Keep up the awesome and inspiring journey you are on! Now you have me thinking.. I really need to break out my bike before the weather turns for the worst.

Wow...thats awesome Lisa! You are absolutely an inspiration! How long does it take for you to ride that 20 miles? Is the land fairly level where you ride? When I was a teenager I rode 7 miles to go to this place where I would swim. I stayed and swam 6 to 7 hours, then rode back 7 miles.  At that point in my life I lost 35 lbs that summer, lost all my chub and was 135lbs. Thennnnnn I got married a few years later.. had kids.. and well...lol

Looking forward to the details of your ride! Pics gonna be taken? hint hint?! lol.

Look at your ticker go!

That is great... bet that was a fun summer.... Yep I know about having kids ..... I packed on the pounds.
For me to ride 20 miles it is about 2  hours but with the heat maybe a little more ... so I am thinking with breaks I will be done in 4 or 5 hours. And I will be taking pics along the way....

I am still in awe that my weight is going down as fast as it is .... even durring my stalls, to me even 1 pound a weightloss is a blessing. Now it is time to think about plastics... But I am going to wait atleast  8-12 months after I hit  my Dr goal his has me at goal at 150 mine is at 130.

Well.. know I will be with you in spirit..cheering you on the whole way!

My Dr's goal for me was 170. Mine was a minimum of 150. I am now at 151 and the scale is enjoying toying with me on this..but thats ok.. I'll win out in the end. At my current weight, I am in a size 8 pant and a medium top. Not bad.. not bad at all! Would love to be at my pre-childbearing weight of 135, but everyone says I would be way too thin at that.. We shall see what happens over time.
Unless you are about 5 ft to 5'3" 130 is probably going to be too low to shoort for.. but you know your goals, and you will know when you are looking and feeling great.
