I had my gastric bypass surgery on April 6 of this year and I have started to be really hungry I have been able to eat ALOT more food than I am suppose to and have been snacking and learned how to cheat with things I know I am not supose to have. Someone mentioned going back to the basics, right after surgery hospital diet starting with just broth and jello and work back up to solid food to get another start. I have also seen this five day back on track diet on the web not sure if this is a scam I have purchase the menu. any comments on if these work.

Great to realize that you were off track Nicky.  Back to the basics, means proteins first, measuring your foods, chewing slowly, using toddler utensils, no drinking with meals and for 30 minutes before and after.  Tell you mind that you will get ill from eating the improper way.

Weight loss success in not  "diet" but a lifestyle change.  Get back into life, one meal at a time.  Include liquids, at least 64 ounces/day between meals, exercise and time for yourself.  Hope to ready many more posts from you over time.  Hugs.

You may have found ways to trick your body into accepting what is no longer good for it, but remember this... in a couple of years, your body will be the one playing the tricks on you.

So glad you have recognized that this is not the way to go and are going to get back on track and not cheat yourself out of the results you can have if you follow the success habits you should.

We are here to support you!
