Can't complain!

Hi all --

I just wanted to post a note about my surgery, which happened 5 days ago.  I remember coming onto this website and trying to suck out every bit of information as I could.  I remember reading about a lot of complications and issues and it was kinda scary and made me nervous.

I wanted to write a note to all you newbies, pre-ops, etc.  to let you know that my RNY surgery and gallbladder removable was pretty unremarkable, as has been my recovery.  I am not in any pain, really, and there have been no complications.

I'm feeling pretty good, in fact.  Today I walked an hour in the woods with my family and it was awesome.  I can't say it was a work out -- more of a stroll -- but I was pleased nonetheless.

For those of you who want the nitty gritty details of my surgery, you can visit my blog where I just wrote about it.

I would also like to thank so many of you who have posted on here -- both good and bad -- and for those who answered so many questions of mine.  Your information has been so valuable to me!

Onward and upward,
Stephanie

Congrats to you on your surgery! I am so happy it was uneventful and you are recovering well. Don't over do things, but keep up the good work of getting in activity! I m not sure i could have walked an hour 4 or 5 days post-op. I wasn't in severe pain, but when walking, it would certainly stir up some pain that wasn't present prior to the walks.

Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to traveling this journey with you!
