I'm baaaaaaack!
I’m back at last! Boy, I missed my home! Vacations are great and this one was pretty good but to tell the truth, I got bored the last few days. I missed my computer. I did swim a lot and kept to my promise to eat mainly fish, but I wasn’t as good as I should have been. I did eat ice cream a few times, had ouzo once and picked on French Fries. When I came home I finally weighed myself. I’ve lost the 2 kg I gained last month plus ½ more. Not spectacular results for 3 weeks, but I’ll take what I can get.
We had a scare while we were there due to the strike by the truckers. We weren’t sure we’d be able to get back because of the lack of fuel. As it turned out, there was no problem and none of our plans were changed. There is a lesson in this: Never believe News reports. They always exaggerate.Well, we are back now and it’s back to the routine until next year. I AM going to try to walk a bit in the evenings. We took a few strolls while we were in Agkistri and I managed 100 meters and back (with a few stops), so goal achieved! Next goal: 200 meters.
I've taken in my Vitamin D for the year now I think. LOL Vacation time is a good time to take stock of yourself and I've been noticing things I hadn't noticed before. My hair is falling even though I usually load up on vitamins. Fortunately, my hair has always been too thick for my liking so I can do with less. I'm not losing weight evenly. Some parts are losing faster than others and they are not the same parts I used to lose first from. The weight loss distribution is not even symmetrical, e.g. my right leg is much fatter than my left leg. I suppose it will all even out in time but for now it looks weird. My flesh is loose and baggy all over and even the swimming didn't help much with that.
It's good to be back here on OH and I look forward to your postings.

Last week, went to the county fair with my hubby on Thursday, to a college musical (the sound of music) on friday evening and to a tall ships fesstival on saturday. By Sunday we were both ready for a day at home. The crowds were thicker each day. The tall ship festival went on for 4 days and they reported a total attendance of about 200,000 people. We got to tour 2 of the 8 tall ships at the festival, the ships are simply amazing. Polished wood, sails, masts, many many ropes and pulleys. Brought us back to a different time in history.
I finished a quilt for my cousin's wedding. I will post a pic of it in a separate note when I get the pics down loaded from the camera. Hugs
