Bariatric Buddy
newbie from NJ
Hi everyone, I had my surgery July 1 2010 and I am excited to find a group I can discuss this journey with as I do not know anyone personally who has had this procedure. I'm 63 yrs young, grandma and great grandma but feel and look younger than the old gray mare I'm suppose to be.
Good luck to all the other newbies...never give up the dream

If that is you in your pic... YOU SURE DO look younger than your years! Way to go grandma / great grandma!
Congrats on your surgery. I hope you get the results you dream of and hope for. Welcome to our group! I look forward to getting to know you!
I am 43, grammy to 3 precious little ones and love it!!! But am happy to wait a very long time to be a great grammy!

Hi Kathy,
Thank you for the warm welcome into the group. I look forward to the chat room this evening. Since all this is new to me ( posting, chat, etc) I'll need a little patience until I get the hang of it, and yes those are my pix taken last year. "Losing side of surgery"... funny how being a "loser" can be a compliment..hoping I'm a big 'loser' real soon, and a permanent one too, lol.
See ya tonight

Welcome to the group Phyllis. Congrats on making it to the losing side of surgery. I look forward to reading many posts from you as you travel this great adventure. Ask any and all questions, try to come to chat when you can. Monday evenings is chat time, I post a reminder and shortcut on Mondays. Hugs
