I am back at work now full time and have found that I keep gaining and loosing the same 4 pounds.  I do notice that while at work I get bored and then eat a yogurt or get some soup from the cafeteria.  I am not taking in extra calories but it is driving me crazy.  Any suggestions.
My protein intake is good. I could stand to drink more water or fluids. Help anyone!!!!

Lucy, you are just a few weeks out, give your body time to adjust to the changes.  You body is used to fewer calories and will hold onto every calorie it can.  Make a change in the status quo, up your calories by a hundred or so, ramp up the exercise, get in more fluids and things will start to shift again. Keep your body guessing on what is coming next.

Do not despair, the weight loss will restart in time.  Do your best to follow the program set out by your surgeon and the results will be there.  Are you journalling your foods/exercise?  It helps.  Hugs

The same thing happened to me. I had to add a  couple hundred calories a day and increased my excersice difficulty level. It took about a month, but the weight loss has started again!

Best of Luck and yes.. it will break regardless of how you feel.. I thought it would never break and drove myself nuts...

The advice in the other responses is so true. Kathy told me to try that before and it worked for me.

Best of luck to you and hang in there..you'll be surprised when your body starts dropping the weight again.

Definately up the water... if you are not getting enough you are probably fighting water weight, as your body will hang onto all the fluids it can to prevent dehydration.
Also know that as you progress through this journey, you will points like this on and off. It is very normal. Don't panic!
When I was 11 days out, it happened to me. I sat still almost 2 weeks.. and thought for sure I was doomed! here I am today at a normal BMI!
