Hey ladies and gents, Myname is Meighen and I had the VSG on june 29th 2010. I'v lost 19 pounds sence the surgery and 35 total so far. I'v been over weight most of my life and for the past 10 years i gains a lot of it, My husband is in the navy so when he was gone i really started to eat horrible food and wasnt motivated to go out and excersice. I finally got to a point where i couldnt lose the weight, i tried for many years to lose and i did but i gained it plus some back that happened 3 or 4 times before my dad told me i should look into getting a Bariatric surgery. So i did and here i am. and im soo happy i did it

Kathy my husband is not home right now, He wasnt home for my surgery either. This deployment is only over the summer and it was last minute they had to go out in place of another ship that had broken down. LOL he didnt work on the day of my surgery witch was not good for him because i was sitting there werrying about me the whole time. He was posting on facebook and my friends here responded to him and kept him up to date. i really do wish he was working he would have been too busy to think about anything else
