xercises for hips? and a yay me
i measured myself again today and the last time was more than a week ago when i bought the tape. i lost a few inches everywhere but my forearm, maybe calf (that one got messed up), and my hips are the same. is there anything besides surgery that i can do to help me loose the hips? they're unbearably large and i just want to help things along. going to google exercises in a minute but thought i'd buy you friendly people one last time for a while. ;) and i had the potato with no calorie butter spray and some cheddar shredded.
Congrats on the inches gone. We had a personal trainer at our wls meeting a couple of weeks ago, he shared that there were no magical spot reducing exercises. Encouraged us to do general cardio workout, walking is the easiest one. Adding weight lifting will increase muscle mass and muscles burn more calories per day than fat cells do.

Good choices on the potato. Yup, the others are right.. our bodies lose where ever they want to. One thing that helps with certain areas is to tone those areas, but it is still not a guarantee to make them smaller... but firmer. So just keep working it! Yeayyyyyyyyyy for you on the decrease in measurements!

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
The last time I had lost a lot of weight was about 20 years ago (Gosh, I am old!!) Anyhow, I had reached what is now only a dream goal for me and I was doing aerobics three times a week, including countless situps. The best compliment I was paid was that my body had actually changed its shape (I'm bottom-heavy too.)
So, from personal experience, I would suggest aerobics and situps.
