Stomach Sensitivity Question

I'm in the soft foods stage now and I'm starting to try new foods.  So far so good.  So I'm wondering how you know if something doesn't agree with you and if you know immediately?  I had scrambled eggs with a little ham and cheese last night and oatmeal with splenda and spray butter this morning and I feel great.  Of course I'm eating at the most 1-2 oz during a meal.  Just wondering how it is with everyone else to help me gage how I continue this process.  Thanks!

Typically with me, I know within the first bite or two if a food is not going to agree. (I am not referring to dumping here.. just to foods that don't set well). I will get a heavy feeling, kinda like i have a clump of cement sitting in my pouch after bite one or two. As soon as i feel that uncomfortable feeling, I know to stop eating whatever it is that is causing it. Sometimes it can be a mild nauseated feeling after the first bite or two.

If you experience more of a feeling of hot flashes dizziness stomach upset after you have eaten your meal, this is likely an indicator your meal had too much sugar / carbs in it and you are going to dump. Dumping can be experienced to many different degrees as well. You can feel it mildly, or feel like you are just gonna die... (not litterally, but you feel really horrible) You can feel slightly nauseated with hot flashes  or feel extremely dizzy, vomit and or have severe and sudden diahrrhea.  But please stay away from all sugars.. especially now.. as dumping is MISERABLEEEE.

Thank you Patrece, it does help.  I'm just trying to figure out where to draw the line. I've been very vigilant about the sugar because I'm scared to death to dump!
