Getting there...
Well.... I guess it was a good idea to try the diuretics. I lost 1.5 kg from the 2kg I gained a few days ago, so it was water-weight after all. A word of caution to any who may want to try diuretics: Diuretics are NOT allowed after WLS no matter what type of operation you had. I guess that's because we need our water too much and should not try to lose it. Mine was a special case and I won't be repeating it soon.
I'm still not happy with myself at this point. Proteins are hard to swallow and keep down, hunger most often expresses itself as pain - as does satiety - and soups or broth are still the only things that can "settle" my stomach a little. On top of all that, I have hubby who keeps repeating "I told you not to get this surgery done!" Aaaarrrgh!
Does this EVER get easier?

It does get easier with time. Some of us take longer than others to adjust. I dohave to say I am suprised a bit, as I though food intolorance was less of a problem with the procedure you had.
If satiety is expressing itsself as pain, maybe you are taking in just a tad more than you can comfortable accomodate? try eating a bit slower and stopping as soon as you feel satisfied.. not full. Hunger satisfaction can take up to 20 or 30 minutes to register in our brains after we have eaten.
It sounds to me like it may be best to avoid talking to hubby about this. You do not need someone bringing you down. You need positive support and encouragement. If it were my hubby saying this, I'd have a lot to say back to him...lol. I am lucky in that my husband has always been very supportive of my wls journey. His worst habit is offering me foods that aren't wls friendly, in trying to be nice. But never wise cracks.
Big hugs to you amalia.

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
I did not have a food intolerance problem last month, it's something that suddenly happened, and yes, the sleeve should not have food intolerance problems but it does from what I surmise from other people's posts.
I do eat slowly and if I'm eating meat or chicken 3-4 bites is my limit even if I still feel hungry because my stomach feels uncomfortable. Cheese has become my best friend, and not all cheeses at that, only mild, soft cheeses.
Generally, I feel better eating breakfast and that's when I get most of my protein in. As the day goes on, my stomach gets more irritable.
I have a lot to say to hubby too and I do, but once he has said his piece the damage has been done. Hubby does stand by me even though he doesn't approve of what I did but knowing that he disapproves, hurts. Your husband is a doll, I loved "meeting" him the other day in chat. Give him a hug from me.

Maybe you need to follow up with your surgeon and make sure there is not some kind of blockage somewhere going on.. just a thought.
You want me to come talk to that man of yours? LOL. Wish i could, but kinda far away...
Please take care and see your doc if this keeps up.
Hubby says Hello back at ya
