Weirder and weirder... but back on track

Well, I did my 2 days liquids and the stomach is feeling a bit better. Truth is, the 2 days were almost fasting and the "liquids" were mostly water and some watery soup. Not by choice, mind you, it was what "Sleevie" demanded! I did manage to swallow and keep down a couple of ounces of well-chewed meat today and a little broth. I hope tomorrow will be better.

The weird thing is, although I had managed to keep my weight steady throughout the cortisone phase, today my scale read a gain of 1 kg.!! What the... ?? With water???

Sorry, I panic with weight gains. I know it's probably liquids and it will go away soon, but the fear of regaining is still very strong in me.

Never fear.. it is likely your body holding the fluids as you were probably dehydrated from the illness you had experienced. It will be ok...

Great job in keeping the weight steady throughout the steroid battle. I know that was tough on you.
Big hugs!

Congrats on making it through the cortisone treatment. Give this a few days and the fluid weight should disappear. Hang in there my friend. Hugs
