Don't know what else to do... Please respond
ok.. I have upped my calories from about 300 a day to around 450 a day and also boosted by excercise. I work out in the pool 3x a week and on "land" 2 times a week.
and my scale has went up 2 lbs.
I am 3 months out. .why am I struggling already? Is this normal?
I talked to my NUT last week and she said to just keep doing what I am doing, but I feel like crying!!
How can I go up when I am eating healthy and working my butt off!
I need a pick me peeps.. Please help!

Ledaizey, you may need to up your calories a bit more due to the exercise. Your body is saving every calorie that it gets ahold of thinking there will be no more coming. Try increasing your liquids too. Hang in there and the pounds will continue to fall off. This stall will break and you will feel so much better about the numbers on the scale. Hugs
Hey gal.. I KNOW how frustrating this is.. I truely do. Try adding in a protein shake, if you have not already. The weight gain of 2 lbs is likely water weight. Drink tha****er well as Kathy suggested.. she is soo right.
Another thing you need to be aware of is that at about 3 months out, (MY WLS doc told me this when my loss slowed dwon) Our weight loss will be about 1/2 as fast as it was the first 3 months. He said they don't know why at this point it does this, but it does with most everyone. Maybe your body is in that adjustment phase.
How long has this plateau been going on for you? Even when I was early out like you I had them last sometimes up to 3 weeks, then suddenly the scale would go down and down and down.
Another thing too, is sometimes, even when the scale is not moving, we are losing inches.. I don't know if this may be happening for you? This is a good reason to measure at least monthly. Then when you hit a plateau, measure weekly, and usually you will see change there.
I can almost guarantee you that at 3 months out, any weight gain you see on the scale is fluid retention or lack of having a BM (constipation) or a building up of muscle tissue. It is very very unlikely, if not impossible... that any true weight gain from fat could happen at this time.
Relax and take a deep breath or two. Keep doing what you are, try the advice given, and relax some more. I promise you this is not an unusual thing happening. I went through it almost every single month from the start.
Big hugs and lots of love coming your way.

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Thanks Gals! Don't know what I would do without you!
One of my greatest fears is failing with this like with every other attempt I have made in the past.
I am trying to bump up my water intake as well as my calories to try and get moving again.
I was at the same weight for about a month.. then boom! up 2 lbs.
I will just keep plugging away.
