pureed foods/soft foods question

after surgery can you freeze small portions like chicken and veggies already pureed, etc if you dont freeze the chicken be4 you make it. i just cant see wasting so much food when i am on a soft foods/pureed food diet. or is it better to just take a little of what your family is eating and use some leftovers for lunch the next day? i dont know. i like to have all the info ahead of time though. the only veggies i am super good at eating is broccoli and cauliflower steamed bags at walmart, or baby carrots cooked until they're soft. but i plan on getting a pressure cooker and can eat a little more variety that way.

You dan do either Sara. Freeze portions in ice cube tray to portion out the right size. Put frozen food cubes into a freezer bag. Or prepare healthy foods for the entire family and finely chop or puree a small portion of the protein for yourself. I used my hand held chopper to puree some of family meal for myself. The puree foods only lasts a couple of weeks, it flew past before I knew it. You will figure is out in the meantime. Hugs
