Does anyone have a suggestion for a good cookbook for gastric bypass patients?  I saw several on Amazon and was wondering if there are any good ones.  Thanks!

Hi Daisy,  I was pageing through a cookbook when I was visiting Patrece, found several recipies that sounded great.  As I was reading, I thought the recipies also sounded familiar.  Yup, they were, I had the same cookbook downloaded to my kindle.  It is by Patt Levine, Eating well arter weight loss surgery:over 140 lowfat high protein recipies.....

The recipies are made with just a few servings and have nutritional data for each.  Hope you enjoy it.  You can always look inside the book at the table of contents on Amazon too.

I bought, eating well after weight loss surgery, but the recipes are complicated with a ton of ingreadients for one dish.

I have been sticking with the recipes from Cooking Light magazine.
They give you the protein, carb break down for each and they are fairly simple.

I just had my surgery last week so I'm not eating yet, but I did see this blog listed on someone else's page.  Everything sounds delicious and looks pretty healthy.  Here is the link:

I hope it helps.  :)

I ordered and just received Recipes for Life After Weight Loss Surgery from Barnes & Noble.  Looks to me like alot of good recipes with simple everyday ingredients and ideas.
