Bariatric Buddy
A little update
Well it's been almost 7 mo. and it's not been so hot. I had a real slow recovery, never quite getting better. Then in April I moved to another location in the same town. What a chore. About 1 mo. later I had an appendicites attack, soo painful, had it removed. And now a few weeks later I'm doing better, but can't quite feel back to normal and still some still pain in upper abdomen. Need to have that checked out. My BFF has just gone in for colon surgery. But anyway, I have lost about 50 lbs w/o any exercise as I had been feeling just to bad. I had an open bypass and since I'm 60 I think it was too hard on me. I'm looking forward to feeling more normal so I can feel like exercising and doing more activities. Hope everyone has been doing good. Patrece looks really good after her PS.
Thanks everyone for checking in, I'll be busy still being a caregiver for awhile. Hope to be more active back here soon. Hair is falling out, but hope it will stop soon.
Take care all, Joyce

((((Joyce))))) I am glad you popped in to share. Wow, tough going for you. I pray that things start looking up and going smoothly. Do what you can for exercise, it will help even if walking up and down the halls and taking the steps. Biotin helps with hair loss, it is one of the B vitamins. Keep following the plan set out for you. Hugs
Oh Joyce..so sorry you are having such a hard time of it. Having the appendicitis issue and the other difficulties is certainly slowing your recovery and ability to do more activities. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a full and speedy recovery from here.
Congrats on the weight loss, and hang in there. Get lots of protein as it help accelerate healing.
Big hugs coming your way.
P.s. thanks for the compliment on my PS.
